Music of the moment

I think that it is safe to say that i have a bit of an addiction to music. Like a lot of people music plays a huge role in my life, whether it is a form of motivation for exercise or a pick me up when I am feeling down, so I thought that I would share with you some of the tracks and artists that I have been loving recently!

  • Alt-J  //  Hunger of the pine
  • 5 Seconds of Summer  //  Dont stop
  • Ed Sheeran  //  Tenerife Sea
  • Imagine Dragons  //  Battle cry
  • We the Kings //  Queen of hearts
  • You me at six  //  Fresh start fever
  • Calvin Harris  //  Summer
  • George Ezra  //  Budapest
  • Twin Atlantic //  Brothers and sisters

I would also highly recommend grabbing a pair of Urbanears headphones if you are looking for an amazing crisp and clear quality sound at a lower price. I picked mine up for around £35 which was an absolute bargain!

Which music artists or songs would you recommend? :)

Wet & Windy Exploring Norwich

Miserable, rainy and windy days like today are usually perfect excuses to stay at home, relax and enjoy a movie marathon. Unfortunately I had to run some errands in Norwich city centre today so I put on my raincoat, grabbed my camera and braved the typical British weather.

Norwich can be so beautifully scenic and is full of so much wonderful history. I would love to know if any of you have ever visited Norwich and what you thought of the city! Also what do you do with your 'rainy days'?

Summer Clothes Purchases

It quite surprised me the other morning when I opened my wardrobe and found that I had a complete lack of summery clothes, the ones I did have being plain styles with boring colours. This was definitely a good cause to go clothes shopping and update my wardrobe. I gave myself a rule to opt for a range of summery clothes that were colourful with a variety of different patterns and styles and ended up purchasing these:

Floral Snap Back - Primark

I have wanted a floral snap back for a while now but I was never able to find any that I liked or suited me. This one caught my eye straight away when I walked into Primark, and at £4, it is an absolute bargain!

American Freshman Trucker Hat - River Island

This hat is a slightly different style to a snap back but, like every other river island product I have brought in the past, it is such amazing quality and looks great too.

Blue Ombre Floral Shirt - River Island

This is my absolute favourite purchase and one of the t-shirts that I wear the most. It is such an eye catching floral pattern and I knew as soon as I saw it that I had to have it!

Tiger Print Shirt - Primark

I love how this is more of a striking and unusual shirt and even though I would not normally wear things like this, I actually love it.

England Themed Shirt - ASDA

This combines my love for both football, England and the colour red.

Blue Striped Vest - ASDA

Simple yet it looks so good, this vest was an absolute bargain and fits perfectly.

English Football Vest - Peacocks

Another footballing styled item, which combines old style writing with modern colours.

Cool Patterned Socks - Primark

Yes, technically not summer related but I couldn't resist buying these patterned socks which I just think are so cool don't you agree? ;) .. definitely a nice change from plain and boring socks!

I would love to know what you think about these purchases and I hope that they inspire you to add some colour and creativity to your wardrobe this summer!

Summer Bucket List

As it is now officially summer time, I thought that it would be a good idea to put together a bucket list of all the things I want to achieve this summer in the hope that it will make me more productive, rather than spending the days hiding up under my duvet with the curtains closed watching countless episodes of breaking bad.

1. Visit the zoo
2. Spend lots of time relaxing on the beach
3. Do something completely out of my comfort zone
4. Improve my cooking / baking skills
5. Make homemade icecream
6. Be more experimental with different foods rather than eating the same meals
7. Go an entire day without using any technology (this is a tricky one)
8. Get up extra early and watch the sun rise
9. Grab a blanket and star gaze
10. Eat healthy and use the gym as often as possible
11. Go camping for the first time
12. Make a delicious pancake breakfast
13. Explore somewhere that I have never been before
14. Improve somebody else's life by volunteering
15. Document a day using only photographs
16. Blog about all of the above!

Hopefully I will be able to get through these and blog about the results.

What is on your summer bucket list?
